The worst school ever. My son never had a problem with pink eye until we enrolled him in this school. Once you enter the school , it smells like your in the middle of bourbon street.. yes urine smell. It was many students in my daughter’s class that didn’t speak English but spoke only Spanish. My daughter, 8 y/o at the time , was told to help those students and she doesn’t speak Spanish. No program to help foreign students learn English- just throwing them in a school without knowing anything. Carpool is probably the most organized. They don’t even ask for id when checking your student out! My sister was about to sign out my son , many times, as long as she knew his dob name and grade level.

This school couldn't care less about your children. They will not be nurtured in a caring academic environment. My child has come home crying several times for being berated for minor infractions, like skipping on the play ground. My son is a straight A student with excellent behavior. I personally have been yelled at and spitefully treated on almost every interaction with staff. I am a teacher myself and would never think of being so blatantly rude to a child or a parent. Its completely unacceptable. I plan to enroll my child at another school asap.

Since the New Principal took over, the school has down graded, even though the Principal thinks she is doing a "Great Job." She is the one who blocks parents from ENJOYING PTO meetings and helping with changing things. Everything has to go through her and she basically does not want any change. The teachers are really great but they are limited to since they have a Principal that is all about HERSELF. I am truly disappointed with the school. I sadly can't change anything at this time. Overall, they need a NEW Principal and facelift to the school.

i really liked this school at one point but not anymore. the principal of many years retired and somebody new took over as of the 2009-10 school year. it has been all downhill since then. however, my criticism does not apply to the pre-k program. the pre-k teacher is wonderful, couldn't get anyone better to start your kids out with. my problem is with upper grades. instead of focusing in on education it seems the kids are always being scolded for the pettiest of things. i've had my kid come home and tell me he wasn't allowed to use the bathroom all day. the look of the school is kinda ghetto. they have no gym and the playground is pretty much all blacktop. the swing/monkey bars area is much smaller than most schools. the principal doesn't care about recess. if they get any, it's not much.
