Excellent school: teachers are supportive, leadership is great and school's commitment to involving parents in super. Events like Math night and the Watchdog program make this school a great environment for students. My daughter's English was not good upon entry to Kindergarten and the school provided extensive ELL support. Now, as a 2nd grader, she's reading above grade level and is exceeding expectations. Music/art programs are excellent as well as Jamestown Elementary's commitment to technology.

We sent our first two children to private school and our next two have attended Jamestown. We had no idea that a public school could be this wonderful. The expectations for each child in the classroom and of character are very high. The caring and supportive culture as well as the academics have far exceeded our expectations. Some of the outstanding experiences we have had include: high parental involvement, Girls on the Run, 5th grade camp, school wide talent show, family picnic, monthly character awards, frequent communication from staff and teachers, amazing Christmas program, Musical olympics, Square Dancing, Economics Market, Reading Incentive Programs and Rewards, Several Community Service projects every year, well stocked library, principal and staff that know every childs name,
