- Submitted by parent on November 14, 2017Parents beware. Your child would be better off home schooled. Staff here is never held accountable for poor test scores. The high school tests much lower than national averages. There is no excuse for it. Bullying is prevalent and kids complain about this to no avail. School deserves zero stars.
- Submitted by student on October 13, 2014i am a sophomore at East Jackson currently and i honestly would never want to go anywhere else for school, the teachers are fantastic and were all kinda like one big family, and sports can be tough for us because of other schools trash talking us but whenever i play a sport here the team just connects it makes the sport enjoyable. i love east Jackson. Together we thrive!
- Submitted by student on June 11, 2014Look, I'm going to say it right now, East Jackson isn't that great of a school. As a freshman who's going to be a sophomore in about three months, I can tell you that this school has a lot of problems. However, that's simply because the students don't care and don't get involved. Most of the students have already given up on this school, but I haven't. I believe East Jackson can become a very good school again if parents and students start getting involved in our school and care about how and what things are done. Besides that, we're all one big family at East Jackson, and you will make friends quite quickly. As of right now, this school needs all the students and help it can get. But, it can become a great school if we try.
