My daughter is new to this school and she was worried because had issues with bullying the last 5 yrs and is now in 6th grade. She has already made a ton of friends and feels her teachers really care and make her feel welcome to the school and town in general.

I was an 8th grader at this school (I am now in High school), and had recently moved, switching schools to Jackson Junior High. This school has a good education program and “mostly” good teachers, but there were problems with bullying and a lot of gossip. If you are self-conscious or have social anxiety, you probably won’t be comfortable here, as I did nothing to no one and mostly stayed out of peoples’ way, but somehow still got mean gossip talked about me.

My son is a 7th grader we moved from the Bay Area and in comparison we really like this school. The staff is friendly and helpful. My son likes the teachers and classmates.

School leadership is lacking. Campus supervisor has no controll, uses techniques that as an adult are shameful. Techniques are similiar to problems they attempt to control. Needs to be looked into by a higher authority and mental health.
