I wish I’d known not to go here. Great pay but it is war pay. This is why it’s so hard to fill their jobs by August.

Every time that I have step in Bowie Middle School, staff and teachers are great! Having a great attitude and customer service is a big plus. When I have had questions regarding a case, they have directed me the right way and taken me to where I need to be. Teachers are here to help and have taken their jobs with great effort and desire, that makes me very happy for my kids.

Because this school supports my children, includes after school programs, and teachers communicate with the parents, and finally the teachers here are really nice to my children

The teachers and staff care about the whole student not just their test scores. The teachers respond quickly to any concerns you may have about your student. The whole atmosphere of Bowie is positive and uplifting.

Teachers are very good about responding to emails. Anytime I have an issue about my child or their grades they are very quick and very responsive. I have not had any issues with either of my children at this school. The teachers care about the students and they help them in succeeding.

The staff at Bowie are responsive to parents and the community. They take the time to listen to concerns and go above and beyond to help families beyond educational concerns. Recently a student had a fire, and the staff brought clothes and other items for the entire family. This is only one example of many that could be shared about Bowie.

Teachers, coaches, counselors, administrators are all always willing to help parents, children and each other. Very family oriented. I would not hesitate to send my children to Bowie Middle School.

Bowie Middle School is truly the best middle school in Irving ISD! Best students, best staff, and awesome parent support. The teachers are some of the best, and have all students' best interests in mind.

I've been a teacher for 10 years in three districts. I've worked in Irving for the past 8 years on another campus. This past year I joined the Bowie campus as a science teacher. I've been thrilled to see the dedication each person on campus displays to the students. Some of the staff have been involved with this campus for 20, 25, even 30 years!!! Our students are learning more than how to bubble a test score sheet (even though we are one of the top rated schools in Irving!) We have wonderful leadership, collaboration among teachers, and tremendous support staff.

I highly recommend this school, I strongly believe the teachers here care about their students and education, my daughter's wouldn't trade this school for another they love it here and as a parent it make s me feel good to know they are happy , this lets me know all is okay here.

My son has made plenty friends here at Bowie, he use to attend Dezavala which was a bad experience for him, glad this school has welcomed him with good friends, teachers here have helped him improve his grades up , proud to know they care.
