My kids started at the Cypress Village Elementary almost 1 year ago and they are loving the school! Teachers are great, very involved in kids’ education and wellbeing. The positive atmosphere at the school is noticeable. It makes a big difference in our child's attitude towards learning.The communication between the school and parents is also exceptional, keeping us informed and involved in our child’s progress. We are very grateful for the care and effort school puts into nurturing the students.There is also an amazing PTA group and parents are involved in organizing multiple events for the school throughout the year!

We are so pleased with our experience at Cypress Village Elementary School! The school has created a nurturing and positive environment where children can thrive academically and socially. CVE is a fantastic school with dedicated teachers and staffs , a supportive principal and a welcoming environment where children thrive. The curriculum is well-rounded with strong academics, arts, and sports.The PTA is also very active, organizing great events and creating a strong sense of community. My child loves it here, and we’re so grateful to be part of this school!

The teachers, staff, and admin are wonderful. They are fun, friendly and truly care about the students. Although academics are important, the social-emotional aspects and mental well-being of students are crucial at this age and a primary focus at CVE. The principals and vice principals take the time to get to know all the students from Kinder to 6th grade. They eat lunch with them, play games with them, and hang out during recess. My kids dream about winning the Principal of the Day raffle one day just so that they can hang out with Mrs. Lambert, Mr. Forester and Mrs. Rath all day long.

Since Mrs. Lambert became the Principal, the culture at school has become more inclusive, positive, and engaging. So thankful for all the wonderful teachers and leadership.

Excellent school, typical for IUSD, but the staff here - teachers, administrators, asst principal and principal are the best you could find. We are so pleased we have been here since Kinder for both of my kids and love every minute of them being Cyclones. For a large elementary school, we still feel like it's a close-knit community and love being PTA members also.

There was no focus on education in this school. My child didn’t learn anything and when I ask her what she learned, she just say I don’t know. I looked at the paperwork sent home and it was very basic. I ended moving her to a better school and notice significant improvements in my child overall performance.

Our experience with the Cypress Village elementary school has been fantastic. The caring and supportive teachers create a nurturing environment for my first-grade son. Cypress Village Elementary School is such a great school. We have two kids in the school and their experience has been nothing but amazing. Our Principal Lambert, Vice Principal Forster, and TOSA Hulley are so fun and involved in day-to-day basis. The teachers are amazing and they care about each kid’s development. PTA creates so many wonderful events and perks for students and families. We can feel the presence of community with this school. Parents are involved in class and programs. The campus facilities are clean and inviting. We feel so lucky to have our kids in this school and we recommend this school!

Cypress Village Elementary, the wonderful principal and staff- has been the best experience of living in Irvine for us. We came for the great school and we’re not disappointed. They are some of the best teachers in Irvine which says a lot. Compassionate, dedicated to students achieving their personal best, encouraging my kids that it’s ok to make mistakes and learn from them. We were welcomed and invited to participate on our students learning, and volunteered with PTA, IPSF, Musical theater, classroom parents, yearbook and so much more. Love the front office staff as well as all the PTA volunteers.

The school program and facilities in Cypress Village Elementary are high standard. The teachers and faculty are very much involved with the students growth and well being. The PTA and programs run set new standards on highly engaging the students and families, as well the the community. Very diverse community and gives a very well rounded development approach to the students.

My eldest went through most of her elementary here and my youngest is here now. The school definitely equips them and prepares them for higher learning and everything is tailored towards what each child needs at different levels. The teachers are amazing and their PTA is pretty amazing too! It is a wonderful community for young families.
