I've had to remove my child for private care and homeschooling due to this schools overall negligence. Avoid if possible.

The teachers truly care about student's progress and well being. They incorporate creative lesson plans and activities to engage students. They recognize student acheivement and provide positive reinforcement to students.

I have one grandson and a daughter in this school and the staff and teachers and all the help they give me and all the children is great. We all love it there

McClelland Elementary is a fabulous environment for learning. My two children have been challenged academically in all of their classrooms. The teachers differentiate based on the student's abilities and target goals. I have been impressed more each year my children have been taught here. The professionalism of the teachers, administration, and staff has been very impressive. Definitely a high quality education on the west side of Indianapolis.

My children have been going to McClelland since kindergarten and first grade. I absolutely LOVE this school. I have a son who has ADHD & they offer a sensory room for him to take a break and jump on a trampoline to get his energy out as well as a swing and multiple other options. They DO give homework daily as well as adjust the work to each child's needs. The school is very involved in the community & offers assistance for families in need. I honestly don't like my neighborhood all the time but I stay ONLY because of how awesome the school is!! You will not be disappointed and they will take great care of your children.
