- Submitted by teacher on March 14, 2017Ernie Pyle #90 is a very good elementary school. I had the pleasure of substituting for a fourth grade class and it was an excellent experience. First I appreciated the professionalism by all the staff and the principal is just great. I have subbed at many schools around Indianapolis and I have been horrified with how the children behaved. The teachers here are involved and really care about their students education and well-being. The classrooms were clean, the hallways were always quiet, and no matter what classroom you pass by the students are all engaged. It is refreshing to see a school utilizing funding for real textbooks, laptops for each student, and plenty of supplies. The classrooms were clean, the bathroom were clean, lunchroom nice and clean. I would work at this school anytime. For parents, looking for a nice school where your child grow and thrive Ernie Pyle is definitely a school to look into. Your child deserves the best environment of learning and this school will definitely give them that.
