Lack of consistent leadership. How any leaders in the last six years? Teachers are not appreciated, especially by central office leadership. How many true, veteran, teachers are left in this building after the purging from 2015-19?

It’s a race to bottom at this school. Teachers spend a lot of time disciplining the troublesome students so the kids that do follow the rules don’t get much attention or learning time

Communication with this school has been less than favorable on numerous occasions. The teachers and staff treat students as a threat rather than growing and learning children whom need guidance not judgment. Regardless of compensation if hired to teach and work with children of all ages, colors, and backgrounds your willingness to do so must be present to be successful. If you have a child that may require a little more direction than others in any area this would not be the school for you! I can say this because I have two children that attended Creston and one did require a bit more direction than the other. Warren Township is no longer in my opinion the pride of the Eastside unless you’re only considering football which is ridiculous. I would much rather have teachers and staff that are genuinely there to help and be apart of the growth of my child. Beyond ready for a new start with a new District!

I am a parent of a 7th grade Honor Roll student who has attended Creston for three years (5th & 6th in CIA) and I have nothing but positive things to say about Creston Middle School (as well as Creston Intermediate Academy and Warren Township Schools). My interaction with teachers, staff and Administrators has been very positive and I appreciate the extra steps (e-mail from Team Lead of his teachers, parent portal and e-mailed newsletters) that enable for parents to keep track of what is going on in our students school lives.

Creston is focused on academic success. It has a good variety of excel classes and broad choice of art, music and science electives. The current Principal is organized, and committed to our students, parents, and community.

Being at Creston has turned my son around. He went from being a C/D student to an A/B student. He also went from being a student who wasn't involved in any extra curricular activities to one who is an active participant in sports, clubs and the music department. I am very thankful for the faculty and staff members who have worked so hard to make my kid into the student he is today.
