    This school unfortunately is very cliquey. The parents and staff pick and choose who they want to favor. They talk negatively about certain students, then spread that gossip to other schools. The leadership is poor beyond measure and an absolute disgrace to children who are thriving. I would not suggest going here unless you want to be judged and made to feel like you don’t belong.

    As a very involved parent with 2 children in this school I have had very a very good experience. Sure all schools have some issues, but in my opinion compared with many other local schools Hydesville is a great school with minimal issues. The teachers are very responsive and willing to communicate and work with you if issues arise. Also the other staff members at Hydesville are caring and work hard to make the school great. I have had wonderful experiences with staff all across the board, from the after school program director, the cook, maintenance personnel, secretary, and principal/superintendent. Overall Hydesville is a school that fosters an exceptional learning environment and has a great small school feeling. The parent involvement plays a big part in this school as well.
