This was probably one of the best elementary schools I've EVER been to. I've been to 5 or 6 throughout my whole life and yet, within a year I would call this school one of the best. I'm going to junior high in 2 or so months, and I'm glad I got to spend my final year of elementary here. I'd definitely send my child here, that's if I had one of course.

My kid barely started this school and I don’t really like it but I’ll have to keep her in it until the school year is over. Every time I walk in I greet the receptionist and she ALWAYS has a bad attitude and a stank face. I don’t think she should be working at a school with children… She talked to me like if I’m bothering her… I personally don’t like her attitude. I’m always happy and ready to engage in conversation with people but with her she scares me lol. Idk what her problem is but this was my feeling about her in the FIRST day and I thought maybe she just had a bad morning but na she still had the same face and attitude when I came in a few weeks later… not my favorite environment for my kids but my A little one seems to like her teacher but who knows what really goes on in this public school. They have a big pride sign right in front of the school in the hallway… weird to teach kids that in my opinion. Just let kids be kids idk what’s so hard about that. Be joyful if u work with these innocent little kids…

Awesome school. We’ve had two kids go from k-6th at this school. Couldn’t be happier.

This is my daughter's 2nd year at Hurst Hills and we couldn't be happier. She can't wait to get up in the morning to go to school which is a wonderful thing to see. All of the teachers have just been fantastic. They really care about your child and their education. They keep the parents updated on your child's progress, strengths and weaknesses they see, and behavior through the MOOSE. I have never met a better principal. He is wonderful with the children, staff, and parents. He always has the best interest of the children at heart. There is also a great amount of parent involvement which is another thing I love. A weekly schedule is posted on their page (and e-mailed if you choose that option) so parents are always kept in the loop. My daughter has learned so much here and always has a smile on her face. Hurst Hills is an overall excellent school!

I have 3 children of which 2 have attended and/or are attending currently. The teacher quality for this school on avergae would be 4 of 5. Principal leadershi[ 4 of 5 & Parent Involvement would also be a 4 out of 5.
