I was a Student at Hurricane High School for My Sophomore year and I LOVED It! By Far the best school that I have ever attended in my life. I am so sad to leave Hurricane High School. I have so many great memories there. The Teachers are amazing and I Loved every minute of my time there. The Drama Teacher (Hill) is Awesome! He works Hand in hand with each student and makes sure that you succeed. There are NO cliques! I Loved that there were No Cliques, The Students at Hurricane were so friendly and welcoming to new students. All around I would say that Hurricane High School is an amazing school and I wouldn't hesitate at all to send your child there. Amazing Teachers, Friendly Students, Great Test scores, and all over just a really fun school to attend. The teachers like to get a good kick out of teasing ya but its just for fun and only jokes they would never say anything to offend the students. I Would not think twice about sending your high schooler here. GO TIGERS!

I love this school. It is a wonderful environment that supports students progression in any of their desired fields. Students are taught to behave respectfully and to be responsible. The Arts teachers and AP or CE teachers are superb; especially the fantastic drama teacher who has built up student's confidence and dedication time and time again. The principle doesn't get the credit he deserves from many of these reviews. He does care about the success of the students and does a wonderful job. The councilors are friendly and always desirous to help. It is a school that is backed 100% by the community! Go Tigers!

I really enjoyed going to school here. It is a small school with a lot of pride and spirit. The community is very tight knit and although the city council might not be the best the school is wonderful. The teachers are great, but you do have to be willing to put effort in, because as much as they would like teachers are unable to carry all of their students.

A decent school if you put forth the effort. However, I found the lack of diversity at this school (racial and religious) a distraction many times. Again, it is what you make of it and it has decent academics. I just felt very different at this school, more so than before I moved here.

i graduated from HHS a few years ago. I found that the school expects you to live by their specific religous standards. I am not religous at all and found this completely ridiculous. However there are some REALLY great teachers there whom I learned alot from.
