My daughter was in a Christian private school from preschool through 6th grade. In 7th grade we moved to FV where the schools are highly rated. Our home school is Fulton. However, I took my daughter to both Fulton and Talbert to get a feel for the schools and she instantly connected with Talbert. It was Mr. Howard specifically that made her feel instantly welcome, like she belonged. He treated her like an equal. His sense of humor surpassed her expectations and made him relatable. That is what we live about Mr. Howard the most. On top of that, he is an outstanding teacher. My daughter has never been a fan of science yet since beginning at Talbert with Mr. Howard as her science teacher, she comes home spilling new knowledge that she learned in class. Mr. Howard does not teach in a textbook manner. He teaches in a way that all kids, no matter what their academic abilities are, can relate to and learn. I am indebted to Mr. Howard for making this transition so smooth and peaking my daughters interest in science. He is an incredible human being and teacher. I just can’t say enough.

I have never had such great response from administration at a school for all the years my 3 children have attended schools: private and public. An issue arose with one of my kids this year. I brought it to the Administration and it was respectfully resolved within hours! So impressed! The principal and Asst P and staff are amazing, pro-active, involved and respected amongst parents and children alike! :) Wish all my kids had the experience of going here! Kudos FVSD for a great staff selection & kudos to Principal Ms Robinson for leading & maintaining such a great staff!
