I absolutely LOVE Park Lakes Elementary! My sons PreK teachers were awesome, and I can't thank them enough for the foundation they gave him to start off school. He sounds things out, and can read words very well. Thank you Mrs. Brigham and Mrs. Toran! The principal was awesome and very active in the school, and I really appreciate that.

I love this school. The teachers are great, loving and supportive, but also very encouraging. The principal is always looking to improve the school, listening to the opinions of teachers, parents and students.

This school has been nothing but positive for our kindergartener. The teachers care about their students and provide excellent instruction. The school has wonderful extracurricular activities that parents and students can participate in. This creates a tight knit community among parents, kids and teachers. Great school.

If you want your child to get bullied every single day, then this is the right school for you. The teachers do not care and the principal is even worse. I can get called 3 times a week from my childs teacher because he doesn't want to to be there for obviously reasons but yet he gets punched in the mouth and kicked and not one incident report is ever done.

School is great. Good diversity. Location is in the middle of our community. had some difficulty with one of the little boys. Those parents were difficult as he was- however the principal finally stepped in and resolved issue to my satisfaction.

Good School. Most parents I have spoken to appreciate this school. Divers group of children and Teachers. Well run.

Why would a parent wait 5 years for a school to diagnose their child as dyslexiv? The person complaining about this should probably look in the mirror. We read with our child every day. We would have addressed this ourselves. My child is tooo important to expect that out of the school. something sounds fishy about that poor review. Sounds like one of those where everybody is responsible but the parent and the child.

The front office staff are rude and unhelpful. If you speak English you will feel very out of place and ignored when at school functions or during the chaotic registration process. I am ready to move just to send my child to a different school. I am sorry every day my child has to go there. Last year was made better by the teacher being kind and patient with the children.

I really think the school is pretty good front office is nice to the parents and they really helped my son out with his problems in school from being behind thanks to all teachers and cousil the only thing I did not like is hearing about the P.E. teacher the kids don't have a gym and the teacher don't have nothing for the children to do other than walk around for exercise or write sentences all threw the year I heard how lazy this P.E. teacher is. Park Lakes had a good PE teacher but he left a while back I hope they look into the gym area and make improvments than school would be an 5 star for me.. :)

I do not like the school. I have two children that have attended this school. We do not speak spanish, therefore we have almost no idea what is being said at school functions. The teachers are nice, but they are almost all new and 1st year teachers. This has handicapped my youngest. He is now in his 5th year of attending this school (4th grade counting kinder.) and has JUST NOW been diagnosed as dyslexic. I applaud his teacher this year. But we had to specially request a teacher with more experiance. Every year he has merely been selected to go to reading tutoring...I have had sit downs with the principal (who is from my experiance very good at her job) and teachers from other classes. They were all telling me better ways to show my child/ work with my child on his reading...doesnt do any good if he is dyslexic!!!
