  My child has been slapped, choked and punched in the eye by the same student. The schools response was that they have to be fair to my sons bully. Therefore they won’t put the bully in a different class. They said I can remove my child from the class and teacher that he adores. When I spoke with him about this option he burst into tears thinking he was in trouble for speaking up. The alternative is to keep him in the class and worry about his safety everyday as the incidents have only progressed to be more and more violet. The school has said they will do their best to keep them separated but they’ve said this after every incident so how does my child keep getting hurt? My sons options are being punished for a situation that he is the victim in or he can go to school worrying about being abused even more by a bully. My son has named several kids in the class that have been attacked by this bully verbally and physically. The school does not care! My child has gone the entire year with zero behavioral issues but he would need to be the one removed from the class. The bully on the other hand doesn’t sound like he’s had a single good behavior day. If they would’ve actually investigated the incidents I'm sure they would’ve seen that. When it comes to bullying which is a major cause of mental health issues and almost always has a horrible outcome for the victim they will be reactive instead of proactive.   Bad. Some of the teachers have a very bad attitude. I’m sure not all of them. For my son wasn’t a good experience. ...More Reviews
