The students graduating from Hope School go on to be leaders in High School and in their college years. Hope produces more Valedictorians than the other 3 schools sending their students to Belvidere High School. There is room for improvement, but with more parent support (making sure the children are being cohesive and supportive of one another), it can be even better.

I was a parent and on the school board, but am no longer associated with the school. The school and the school district is way too small to offer a challenge to children in the grades K-8, and especially grades 6-8 where children are becoming curious about the world and are capable of learning a great deal. There is no career path for teachers when there is only this one little K-8 school in the district. New Jersey shouldn't allow school districts like this. I'm sure it was rare, but with such a small school, the CSA could and did encourage certain children to stay home on standardized test days. Also, with such a small school, test scores can reflect one good (or bad) teacher, Most importantly a child with diverse interests will not be well served.

LIMITED!!! is a good way to describe Hope school. There are limited resources and the administration seems content in carrying on as in the past,. with no apparent initiative to make improvements nor strive for excellence. Attitude seems to be ..it's fine continue straight ahead. But it should be ....What can we do to HELP this school excel? Some of the teachers are mediocre at best. However we do have a few shining stars..... Marcus, Grennan, and Page. It would be great to see the administration push for improving the teachers skills. .At back to school night Sept (2014) Superintendent said hello... Very brief and not a word about goals, objectives, and aspirations for the coming school year. FANASTIC.... NOT!!!!!!

My children have been at Hope school for the past 7 years, and, though the school has challenges, it is overall a very good K - 8 experience. The downside is the lack of some resources, and the building is older, but the library collection has been improving, and the technology for a small school is good. There is no full time librarian, no full time music or art or teacher, and no full time science teacher, but the part time people they have are wonderful. The highlights include the small size, communication with parents is excellent, everyone is helpful and knows the kids by sight, and there is only one class per grade. There are also some EXCELLENT teachers here, and the parents are always encouraged to be involved with the school and the PTA. This school has been great for my kids, and I know they feel safe, cared for, and stimulated to learn. As for state testing, that's at every school, and it can be a bit much, but that is not the school's fault. All in all, a great school!

My Children loves the school and there teachers. Whenever I had some concerns I emailed teachers and the response was right away and we always get a handle on any concerns. Love this little town and school system.... All school functions parents are always there..
