The school is overrated. If you’re not from Gray’s Creek, they’re very snobby. The children that go to the school have a lot of social emotional issues as well as behavior issues that are not being addressed appropriately. I would not send my children there.

The school has phenomenal teachers and a dedicated administration. The overall testing scores demonstrate not only growth but also the expertise and actual learning taking place. Many teachers have been there for years, which speaks to the strong retention and positive morale among the staff. The school's culture is one of kindness and generosity, with leadership consistently looking to support families and provide a safe, nurturing space for students while also meeting the needs of the community. It's truly a wonderful school, and our experience has been nothing but excellent.

Not good for working parents. Great teachers but random “holidays” in work week, no before school care, lots of extra activities for parents to join which leaves you taking many days off work and everything has to done in person (they won’t tell you anything over the phone and usually have an attitude when you ask basic question). Most days you have to leave work to get any information or do anything pertaining to the school. Most frustrating school I’ve ever dealt with.

My daughter went here from K-5th grade and I was very pleased with how hands on all the teachers have been. Whenever I had an issue or a concern it was taken care of with my input.

When we first moved here I was hesitant of the school because the building is older than there other schools around here, but I have had 2 children there since Jan 2011 and I am EXTREMELY happy with this school!! Mr Violette is the Best most caring principle my children have ever had!! I HIGHLY recommend this school.

Grays Creek sets a very good example for a great elementary school. The principal and staff are more than wonderful. All children seem to be treated as individuals and known on a first name bases. My daughter is in 2nd grade and increased her reading and math skills quickly since we moved here from another school. I only have good things to say about Grays Creek Elementry.

This is my children's second school year and I am very happy with this school. I love that my kids are learning about other cultures. My son was immediately identified as gifted and placed in the appropriate classroom and pull out program to keep him interested and challenged. My daughter found no trouble transitioning to a new school. She's liked both her teachers and is kept interested by the variety of cultural classes and differentiation in the classroom. She is not the type of child interested in only doing worksheets. The only change that I would make is keeping Spanish as a daily part of the curriculum for 2-5.

Fantastic School! The Principal knows every child by name and cares about each and every one of them! His door is open to parents and he cares about what they have to say! My son has been here since 2nd grade and will be leaving this year to go to Middle School. The academics here have prepared him quite well for whatever middle school has for him.

My girls have been at this school for two years now and we absolutely love it! The principle is really great and the teachers are terrific. Great loving and friendly atmosphere. The international theme keeps it interesting and fun for the students. We will be moving back to SC and we are going to miss this school and the staff tremendously. It just doesn't get any better than this school, in my opinion!!!

We absolutely love this school. The principal, teachers and staff are all great with kids and parents and so friendly! My two boys love going to school here and the international theme keeps school fun and interesting. We don't have anything negative to say about this school...but lots of positives!

My daughter started Kindergarden and we love it! Love the teacher and Principle! They always have a lot of activities for families to participate in.
