- Submitted by parent on May 09, 2024We are delighted that our daughter attends Hoosac School. The environment is incredibly welcoming, and the academic standards are excellent. The accommodations are charming, reminiscent of a fairy tale. The dedication of the teachers to their students is commendable. The academic programs maintain a high level of quality. The leadership is both present and attentive. The sense of community among the students is strong.Furthermore, it’s fantastic that the girls’ basketball team has the renowned and highly competent coach, Julie McBride.Overall, Hoosac School provides an exceptional educational experience, and we couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s time there.
- Submitted by other on May 02, 2024I lived in Towne Hall for one school year. Look into the education and background of the "educators." The year I lived there, background checks on staff were not done. There was no handbook for staff. No security on campus, building left unlocked 24/7 because "we trust our students"
- Submitted by teacher on May 02, 2024I was a teacher here for a year. It was the worst school I have ever seen, and you could never pay me enough to go back. I have a child, and I would be horrified at the thought of her attending. Please believe me when I say that no one should go here.
- Submitted by parent on March 09, 2024Worst school I have ever sent my child to. The dorms are filthy and the installations need an updated. It is totally a ripoff. The academic level is very low and my son told me he didn’t learn anything

- Submitted by parent on May 26, 2017Both my sons attended Hoosac and really enjoyed their experience. The small, community environment with excellent, caring faculty challenged them to do their best. They made friends from all over the world with whom they continue to stay in touch.
- Submitted by other on October 02, 2013While far from perfect, Hoosac was the perfect school for me. My interests were nurtured and I truly found myself there with the help of some amazing teachers.
