I attended this school from kindergarten through high school and received very little to no guidance. The school doesn't take care of long time students. There's a complete disregard for students who have grown up in the school. In highschool, we were asked to give 3 choices of language. My first was mandarin, 2nd japanese and 3rd choice was french. Despite having gone to the school for 13 years, I was only given my 3rd choice language. The guidance counselor was only helpful to those she favored in the class. I also played sports and despite being decent enough for Varsity volleyball my final year, I was only accepted for JV. My parents saw other classmates who didn't play as well move to Varsity. I love my parents for having supported me through school hoping that I would receive the best support just because Maryknoll is a private Catholic school. In reality, the school had no structure or guidance for students who didn't stand out as either doing really poorly or doing exceedingly well. Everyone in between the school didn't really care for.
