    The grading system is number based, not letter or percentage based. While this does promote the amazing "growth mindset" the school is so great about teacher, it is a struggle moving into 7th grade and grasping a different grading system. Overall, this is a WONDERFUL staff who are caring, involved and invested in their students and community!

    West homer really seems to care about getting the help my son needs, offering a summer program to help him catch up for next year.
