The school has had teachers who didn’t have at least a Bachelor’s degree teaching elementary, Junior High, and high school students. Even the Administrator had a diploma mill fake degree from a fake college in Chicago. The school now mainly has only teacher’s kids. In order for the school to stay open, it will need to improve its staff and offer more to its students. In the past the school had students who couldn’t pass some of their classes, so the school pushed the students through anyway. Hopefully, the school will improve.

With all due respect, as I read some of the reviews stating the sad nature of the school, I must say I disagree. We currently have our children enrolled in the school and I have to say it is a great school. With the direction common core is going with a "one size fits all" style of education, CCBS is a great alternative. As a parent who is actively involved in my children's education, I can say that there are absolutely no issues with vulgarity or immodesty in the school. The kids have had a great attitude about school. They look forward to going and I'm not lying. :) They love school. And the kids are not sheltered from what they will have to face in the world, instead they are taught how to deal with it using Biblical standards. So if you are seeking a good quality, Christian education where your child will get the attention they need, I'd strongly recommend the school. Capitol City Baptist School features K though 12th grade. It has a full range curriculum with extremely high academic ratings. There are multiple buildings, large gymnasium facilities and other sports venues on campus which occupy over 30 acres. located between Lansing and Holt Mi. The standards of excellence inculcate not only scholastic and college preparation achievements , but moral, physical, life and leadership principles. Historically, a very high percentage of It's graduates have gone on to get college degrees. Special Tuition programs have also been created to make this private school affordable to as many people as possible who realize the importance of sound education with high standards.

Just take a visit and look at the violations that students would have in public. Start with dress code then see if they even know how many full time teachers? One plus principal. Which has left, quit or whatever three times plus four or five weeks of substitutes. What a mess. I've seen students enroll and leave repeatedly, within a week

Because of a low student count, the kids get more individual attention. The curriculum is very challenging, so the graduates are prepared for college. Many graduates have tested out of classes (saving money). I know because I was one of them. ~graduate and parent
