Bullying, chaos, government, unions…need I say more. This is not a district that prioritizes students. They can’t.

Holmdel Schools are great but the rating system used by GreatSchools depends on all the students taking part in NJ state tests. Not all students sit for the tests in Holmdel as it’s not mandatory as such the score drops. Another factor why the rating is low is because there is a low number of African Americans in the town. The diversity score is low even though there are people from Asia and other parts of the world in Holmdel. The school has a great college acceptance rate and students from Holmdel have been accepted to great Universities over the years. This ranking is biased and does not provide a true depiction of the school or town. Come and visit the town and meet the community to learn about us. Don’t judge based on a ranking made by a 3rd party company that expects all towns to be there same in terms of testing, diversity and low income thresholds.

Both of my children went to Holmdel High School. One has graduated and one is still attending. Each of them was thoroughly challenged by the teaching staff as well as other students. I would highly recommend Holmdel High School as well as the rest of the Holmdel School System.

The variety of AP courses offered during my time at HHS helped me skip a full semester at NYU. Some of the teachers and administrators have had such an immeasurable impact not only on my academic career, but on my professional and personal development.

The TV Production program at Holmdel Schools, under the superb direction of David Kaiserman, is stellar. They have won numerous prestigious awards, Telly Award, U-Got-Brains Award and most recently Communicator Award. The curriculum is vibrant and student-centered - and, very popular with the students.
