Happy with our experience in Holly Schools. Lots of people who care and go the extra mile for the students. Sad to say we are continuously losing our best teachers to better paying districts and jobs.

This school has bad success rate opposed to what the web says and many kids are failing because of the teachers not doing their jobs instead they just have to learn the stuff themselves and if they cant, they still move on to the next thing over and over again this school is super misleading with the nice sports department and nice school that no one thinks about the low success rate of the 2021-2022 scool year kids

My three siblings and i attended holly schools, my nephews and now my kids and our combined experience with this school was terrible. Not worth any of our hard earned tax dollars, I will never again vote in favor of this school to get extra money for education, because it is not used for education or expanding programs for kids who need extra help , it's used for sports teams uniforms and special cameras to take pics of the football team.

I have several children attending HHS. I am extremely impressed by the leadership and care of the principal. The teachers (despite dealing with budget cuts from Lansing) do an amazing job! The band director they have is one of the best in Michigan!

One of the worst schools in the area. They don't push students to do anything. My parent was very involved but yet they didn't force me to not pick up a calculator so of course as a dumb kid I always used one same with cursive we learned it and never used it. Kids would come from other districts and always be ahead of the kids that came from holly. I had a few easy classes where I got extra help on tests and because science wasn't my strong point my counselor told me that cosmetology wasn't a realistic dream even though I had been dreaming of going to cosmetology school. What kind of a school tells a kid they are too stupid for something?? I would Rather homeschool than send my child here.

This school helped my son go from. Fail to excellent, they helped me reliaze my son has autism ,and his previous school. Didnt even care,love this holly school.

We spent a considerable amount of time researching high schools for our children and compared several private and public schools in the area. Holly High School provided the most advanced classes and challenging on line courses, while also providing a wide range of athletic opportunities. Great facilities with great leadership and professional, caring teachers. This school has come a long way in the last decade.

beautiful, clean, huge, i believe its pretty involved in the students, they teach the students responsibilty, and has alot of extra help. my daughter will be graduating next june, YEEAAAAHH

This school is rapidly evolving into one of the better in the entire STATE! It was recently ranked as the 34th Best High School in the State of Michigan (US News and World Reports). It's AP and Online offerings are performing better than much more affluent districts. Even though Holly receives the minimum in state funding its ACT, MME, and AP scores are consistently at the top of Oakland County. The staff cares about all learners and has numerous intervention strategies for at risk students. An excellent place for your children!

There has been so much funding cut in this district but even before that, there was no adult education and little-to-no incentive to keep upper grades in school. The only incentive that my child received to stay in school was in a behavioral class, filled with other behavioral students which held her back with their own behavior...but the teachers were positive and accommodating. The problem was that the behavioral students got away with everything and that nothing was done to correct their behavior, and that since my daughter had a gifted IQ she was still held-back educationally. She was still bored and still left to her own devices. They did nothing to help her redirect herself and stay out of trouble, thereby compounding the problems that led her there. There is nowhere in the district for someone who does not function within the classic institutional setting and with a normal IQ.

My son is graduating soon and I am confident that he is prepared for college. Remember a person will benefit from any school only if the effort is put forth.
