Horrible, I got called to the front office to speak to a guidance counselor about enrolling in the early college program since I had a strong GPA. The guidance counselor refused to sign me up and told me college courses would be to hard for me. This school does not care about their students.

I graduated 2 years ago and, like every school, it had its issues. The teachers I had all 4 years were amazing (most of them). I was there when Principal Williams took over and within weeks the school had gone from a 2 to an 8 whether we wanted it to or not. There were changes we thought were stupid but later realized they were needed. After I graduated I had a friend who was then senior and I could tell my last year that it was becoming less of a school and more of a social hang out. My friend confirmed that his last year. I enjoyed my experience at Anclote and if I had to change anything it would be that I would have gotten the art teacher I wanted during my senior year!

This schools staff are completely dissrespectful and careless to what goes on inside its walls. they treat the wrong students right and the right students wrong. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. When i attended this school i was miserable 24/7 which lead me to dropout. Im not just some student thats mad at a school. I never once got into any trouble here. i havent attended or been enrolled in that school in over a year now and it felt like what was holding me back from everything. Remembering i had to go back on monday ruined every weekend i had. Even whole breaks i couldent think about anything other than how horrible this school isPLEASE FIX ANCLOTEPLEASE FIX ANCLOTEPLEASE FIX ANCLOTEPLEASE FIX ANCLOTEPLEASE FIX ANCLOTE

Nothing but positive things to say about this school and it's staff. Any issues from years ago have been corrected and are no longer concerns.

Anclote has changed my life, some people say that and don't mean it. Anclote has there down falls but so does all other schools. I was a kid with constant failing grades, and once I got to Anclote teachers are willing to stay late just to help you. You are even able to go in their rooms during lunch to get the help you need, I believe that yes some teachers need a reality check but they are trying. How would you do if you went into a classroom with 23 kids all screaming and yelling. Students give teachers such a hard time that makes them wanna be rude towards us. Anclote is the place to send your kids if you want them to get a great education. Yes when your child skips they call you. Your kids will think its unfair that you know there every move there but in the long run its great. Have an open mind when you go into the school don't assume.

I am a senior at this school and could not be happier. I am a transfer from gulf hs and have done so much better at this school. The principal is involved and cares about her students. The teachers are passionate about what they teach and a lot of the give their time for AAA, a free transportation provided tutoring service. The students are a mixed group from surrounding schools but have mended well for the most part.

i am a parent to a sophomore at Anclote and i have had nothing but positive things this school year. My daughter has always been an honor roll student but last year at her old school ( ridgewood) she had horrible grades and low attendance and not once did anyone from the school call me for a conference or anything until the very last week of school they sent a letter saying she might need summer school.. uh yea tell me now thats its too late to do anything.... since the move to anclote she is back on track and actually comes home excited about her day

I am a student at Anclote High and I HATE it here. I would rather go to any other school BUT this one... Students are of very low class and teachers don't care about the students... The only thing positive is the Commercial Arts program here, it's fantastic. But other than that I would not recommend going here.

Prayer Is not done every morning! Only on Wednesday morning. Oh yeah and this is lead by students (FCA CLUB) under the supervision of Teachers. Pleas get your facts correct!

Have two kids going to Anclote and one coming in as a freshman this year. The school is a good school.. Better than Gulf HS in my opinion. And we are zoned for Gulf. I put my kids in this school because it was new and not overrun by its students like Gulf is. The teachers care here. Its hardly gothic and no where near gang like. Whatever to the other reviews. No one is ever happy!

I attended the Graduation day of the first Graduating class of Anclote High School and on talking with some of the students I could not believe how disappointed they were with the school. It would appear that if your face didn't fit with the Principal, then you didn't. Someone needs to look closely at this.

This was the worst decision I have ever made. I apologize to my son deeply for subjecting him to this poorly unprofessionally ran "school" he is a bright and talented student that graduated a year early and was in the 1st graduating class of this school. He was disgustingly treated by the so call Principal and staff he was only ever reprimanded and never awarded. This school should be closed down before other up and coming students have all their dreams and ambitions crushed . Unfortunately I have to select a star, even though this school deserves zero stars....
