This school is horrible not safe.This school has a group of kids running around threatening and beating kids up like its a gang territory.The school is not safe multiple fights last at least a minute and the adults do nothing but watch the kids get beat.The discipline is horrible they let these kids get right back into the school.I am a victim of harassment.They cornered and threatened me and when me and my mom went and reported it to the school the school didn’t do nothing and tried to instead frame me for calling them cuss words when I didn’t do anything like that.Also, a few weeks later they brutally beat a kid with multiple people while adults just watched.They did this in a public hallway with a bunch of kids and adults in front of the media center.The school suspended the kids for a week but they are back acting like nothing happened because nothing really happened and they wasn’t effected in any real way cuz they don’t care bout they education.The school don’t make any real effort to make them care either they basically gave up on them kids.This school is horrible and I hate it I wanna transfer not safe don’t send your kid unless you want to put them under threat in a unsafe place.

I love how diverse this school is, that includes the staff too! This school really understands the meaning of equity. They have a translator that helps all the Spanish speaking parents. I’ve met some teachers and they’re wonderful.

I’m going to be very straight forward, I was treated awfully by other students in front of teachers. There were a lot of days I was ready to cry in class. My teachers never helped me with people. They just told me that the way people acted were just how they were. I complain everyday how disrespectful other students are with me and how the teachers do not pay attention to my complains. There are students fighting everyday to the point where I don't feel safe in school I just want to drop out of this school.

I’m going to be very straight forward. As someone who was an academic scholar at HEHS, it’s a great school academically and I had plenty of wonderful teachers that did a lot to make sure their students succeeded. There were a few bad ones, but that is normal. However, the whole idea of HEHS being accepting is complete b***s***. I am a student from the class of 2017, who was treated awfully by other students in front of teachers. There were a lot of days I was ready to cry in class. My teachers never helped me with people. They just told me that the way people acted were just how they were. They never stood up for me. SOAR doesn’t mean anything when students were still being treated bad by peers! I appreciate my teachers for how much they made me grow as a student, but I have never kept in touch with them because no one helped me otherwise. It’s not an accepting school no matter what people tell you!

I have one child that just went to this school for 4 years.Great school, great teachers, they go above and beyond for the kids. I have two more children that will go to this school and I know they will do great at this school. I feel it's a great school, in fact best school in D211 to prep kids for college.

As a former student of HEHS, I can atest to the fact that the teachers do help. I had alot of trouble with classes, and actually asked the teachers for extra help.

The worst school for your child. My son complains to me everyday how disrespectful other students are with him and how the teachers do not pay attention to his complains. My son can not stand being in high school. You should not send your child to this school!

Hoffman Estates High School is a bad school. I went to Hoffman Estates High School and I would never send my child there. The worst teachers, discipline among students and it is a high school being among the worst and disrespectful people. They do not care how they talk to someone. It is really not a home of the hawks. It is the home of the prisoners.
