This school is the greatest school in district 54, and Emmet makes this school the best school in the country.

This is the terrible school I ever came across my son was always bullied. I was force to take him out of that school I am writing to express my concern about the bullying my son has experienced at this school …He has been consistently harassed and taunted by his peers, which has created a hostile learning environment. The bullying has included racial slurs cal him Negro and derogatory language, which is unacceptable. I have spoken with the school administration and teachers, but the behavior continues. I urge the school to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that all students feel safe and respected but never happened I was force to take him out of that school .

My experience as a student at this school is honestly a 9/10.The teachers are really respectful and often teach in an engaging manner, and there is not one teacher who treats you bad in this school and they are often supportive and responsive to many of the things you say, with little to no bias. The Advanced classes or ''discovery classes' here have great teachers and great students overall, Eisenhower allows you to see your grades on 'infinite campus' at ANY time which is great as it pushes you to show concern for your school work. There is little to no bullying except the occasional bad apple and teasing (which thankfully, many students can take) and the clubs and activities are often well organized. The only 'issue" with this school is that teachers for 8th grade may get a lot more strict, and there would be a difficulty curve as they are now preparing you for high school.Out of all the schools in the district, they by FAR are the best in LA and are fairly good in math and their advanced math classes, so there's no worries there.Overall, this school is great and I would definitely recommend going to this school or moving near it if you are planning on doing that.

Terrible. Absolutely the worst experience in my and my childs life all together emotionally and mentally. Education is so poor that most of eisenhower students from all district schools ended up going to summer school prior starting high school. Some teachers do not do their jobs as required and are lazy. Sad that my child doesn’t know how to write cursive or read it. Freedom of speech doesn’t exist there either . Ask some question they don’t like or do something absolutely unintentionally- student will be nearly expelled / labeled to something they are not which affects child’s mental being, self esteem .. children and young teens are expected to think as adults and punished if they don’t , while having no rights to vote, drive a car or make their own decisions. I felt as everyday my child was in that school - was in danger just by that school making some big deal out of nothing and nearly expelling .Everyday I was praying for my child’s life not to be ruined . It was terrible experience to that point where I am making “u-turns” to bypass that school as I can’t look at it even when my child is done with it .
