My daughter attended Vine from fifth through eighth grade, and my husband and I both agree that it's one of the best decisions we've ever made for her. When she began at Vine, she had lost all joy in learning and hated school. I think the combination of teachers who got to know her so personally and the fact that she was finally challenged at her own level brought her "back to life" there. After she left, she adjusted to public high school brilliantly (we credit Vine's strong executive functioning instruction) and is now a junior in high school continuing to thrive, taking AP and honors courses and visiting colleges with her eye on a bio/chem pre-med degree. The most amazing thing of all is that she truly seems to own her education... she sees it as her own journey and she gained that at Vine. Can't think of a more amazing gift than that...

We had 3 kids attend Vine Academy from 2015 to 2021. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience. Our kids were academically challenged and emotionally supported. We were so impressed with the curriculum, especially the project-based learning. Vine is an extremely welcoming place, fostering great relationships between the students, and we watched our kids grow socially and interpersonally in very exciting ways. We also love and value the genuine diversity and inclusiveness found in both the staff and the student body.

This school has managed to charge very high tuitions by playing in parents fears. There is a lot of nepotism and many staff are related which can be very disempowering for parents. They have their favorite families and those children will have free reign. The facilities are non existent and given what you pay for tuition completely unacceptable. This school is not a good option!

Vine Academy is a great school for gifted learners. The staff meets your child where they are and then challenges and supports them. My child thrived in their environment.

My 13 year old son loves this school. The teachers have challenged him in each class at an appropriate level, and I have been very happy with my son's progress. Vine has helped my son develop executive functioning skills while not sacrificing academics. The small classes create a nurturing environment, academically and socially.

I highly recommend Vine Academy for any twice exceptional child. It is a terrific fit, and I believe there is no better choice in all of Chicago for these kids. Just so happens it would also be terrific for any bright child. They get the love of learning right at vine. Kids Thrive Here.

This is a great school. Instruction is completely differentiated to each child's ability my daughter is a gifted learner who was unsatisfied by the public schools. NWA she receives 1:1 math and writing instruction. She and tests years ahead of her grade. The curriculum is challenging. My daughter loves school and in sixth grade out performs most high school freshmen NWA is not for everyone. The tuition is not cheap, the school is year round, and the school day is two hours longer every day than other schools. But the teachers are the cream of the crop, the summer session is designed to be fun and is optional, and there is no homework! With the school day longer and the teacher student ratio so small, there is no need for kids and parents to spend their nights learning what the teachers should be teaching in class.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working at this school! It's fantastic how much we as teachers are able to cater to each student's needs. The small class size let's us have great opportunities to get to know each student's strengths and weaknesses. I love being able to customize to each of the wonderful students we have here!

This school is wonderful! My daughter attends it and she has never been so excited to get to school! She gets individualized attention and classes that really challenge her. She loves her teachers and they provide lots of feedback on her progress. She also loves the extra-curricular classes that the school offers Like theatre, ballet, and Maker's Club.

My son was nervous about attending a new school. He was worried he wouldn't like it at all. After a couple days he stated it was way better than his old school! He used to complain everything was so boring and easy; not anymore. The faculty works hard to challenge each and every student. One of the best aspects of this school is the emphasis on writing. To me it seems schools aren't focusing on quality writing. They worry more about the quantity and don't provide timely feedback to the students. At NWA writing is emphasized not just in writing class, but also in independent study, science and history. Feedback is immediate helping the student improve on a daily basis. Overall, great school!
