- Submitted by parent on August 24, 2022Valley High School is a great school to make up credits needed to graduate. It also gives a different learning environment to those who have difficulty adhering to Hayfork High School's schedule and commonly respectful rules and regulations. All curriculum (except for Driver's Ed.) is online using Edgenuity. The credentialed teacher has over 30 years of experience and is highly qualified. The school day is only 3 hours, which gives students the opportunity to work in the afternoon. So far with this new teacher, there is a 100% rate of graduating seniors.As with any continuation high school, a student may not go to a 4 year university after graduation. Students need to attend a Jr./Community college and then graduate or transfer with enough credits. Good thing is that in CA, you can get your Jr. College paid for and transfer as Junior to an University to continue getting your bachelor or beyond degrees.
