They love to display their dominance with letters regarding their regulations on attendance. Which btw is 6 days in the 180 day school year and they will "intervene". However, guess what happens when their unreliable bus drivers decide to skip your entire road? Nobody's accountable. Standing by a highway is dangerous, especially with my kindergarten child. Worse still, when you complain to the principle he doesn't care either. He will simply evade responsibility. This is the fourth day of school.

Hayesville Elementary has exceptional teachers who love what they are doing. These teachers create a learning environment that makes children eager to learn and grow. I have never seen such dedicated professionals. These are wonderful teachers who love what they do.

The teachers at HES are the best around, highly qualified and really care about the kids. Class sizes are between 16 - 25 kids per class so the children get plenty of attention in class. Children are given opportunities to advance and are given work that challenges them to succeed. We really like the amount of time the children are encouraged to read and the homework load seems fair for children of this age. Overall this is the best school in the area.

This is a small school with excellent teachers. They are very family friendly and take more than an academic interest in all of their students.

This school really cares about all the people involved from the teachers to the parents to the students to the faculty. It is a warm and caring atmosphere where kids smile all the time.
