We have had the best experience with The Goddard School in Harrisburg! All of the teachers and administrative staff are caring and kind and communicate extremely well. Our daughters are learning so much and are excited to go to school every day. We love The Goddard School!

I LOVE this school. I've been taking my daughter here since she was about 10 months old and she's 4 1/2 now. All of the teachers have at least their bachelor's degree in child education, they are very strict about child safety and I've never heard any of the teachers raise their voices at the children. They are completely an education-based facility, it is not just a daycare where you drop your kids at and they don't learn anything. They have a very specific curriculum and they have learning workshops from age 1 to 4 just like in a Kindergarten (there is a kindergarten in the school as well). When my daughter was in the infant room, they taught her basic sign language. When she got up to the 1 year old class, they started teaching her Spanish and kept up with the sign language and have been doing this in every class that she has graduated to. In her preschool class now, they practice writing sentences and practice basic things like days of the week, months of the year, and things like that to get them ready for Kingergarten. She is very advanced and has known her alphabet completely since she was 1, she has known her name since she was 1 and how to spell it since she was 2, she started writing at 2 1/2 and now at 4 she is writing sentences and reading. I believe this is definitely due to her attendance at this school. I would compare the level of learning and exploration to the Montessori schools.

Stay Away from this school !!! They speak nicely during admission and never respond after admission Expect hefty fee for even 5 minutes late pickup end up giving 2 kids fee. Its more like day care and know activity for kids.
