As a grandfather of two students I see Londonderry School giving them a nurturing environment that provides a healthy learning experience while allowing them to be their own unique individuals.

My children are flourishing in Londonderry. Social-emotional well-being is so naturally integrated into the course of the school day; my childrens' healthy self-esteem is reflected in their confidence in trying new things, their ability to cope in difficult situations, and secure in their relationships with peers and families. I'm so grateful to Londonderry for helping my kids grow into good humans. Highly recommend this school.

They do not care or offer resources when a child is struggling. There is no communication with parents whatsoever.

This is the school I dreamed of for my children. The kids walk around happy and friendly. My kids' individual beings are encouraged here and l love that. Great school!

I don't know who left the previous review, but this is not the case for most parents at this school. It seems like someone was just attempting to raise the ratings for the school to help their enrollment issues. The truth is the truth. Most of us have had ongoing issues especially since all of the teachers are leaving in the younger grades; 3 are reportedly not coming back for next year. It's unfortunate because the older grade teachers seem great have been holding on strong and my family has seen some kids benefiting at least from some of the school offerings. We were supposed to have a heavy emphasis on art and science but haven't seen any of that for the few years we have been here especially since there's no computer teacherWe just had one of the teachers that's been there for over 10 years, leave right after the new year with no replacement and a first and second grade teacher leave in December due to ongoing issues with another student and the administration doing nothing, not even reporting incidents to department of ed. The truth will continue to come out about this school and my kids and I are NOT sticking around for any more degradation.

We found Londonderry after dealing with some issues in public school, especially during Covid, and we're so grateful that we did! Our child is thriving with the help of his teachers and the communication with the director and other staff has been wonderful! The other families have been welcoming and the feeling of community is what we'd been looking for.My child, like many others, had some learning setbacks due to the pandemic and the teachers and staff have been so helpful in communicating what we can do to address those. I am appreciative of the hard working teachers, staff, and administration and look forward to more years at Londonderry!

The only nondenominational school I found and once I started sending my kids there I noticed the improvement in learning attitude immediately. This school made me so happy and got my son into a FREE Private Art primary school. My children have it so much better than I did at this age.

Londonderry is by far the best school out of the three private schools we have been in (relocations). Londonderry is more of a community than a school. Parents happily donate money, supplies and time because they value the school (not because of aggressive fundraising approaches like or 1st school). My kids love Londonderry, including all of their friends and the teachers. It's not a perfect school and it's not a perfect fit, but I have learned that "perfect" school does not exist. Plus, it's healthy for kids to learn to cope with things hat are not perfect or not obstacle free.Although not perfect, Londonderry really listens to the needs of the parent/child community.I only wish they had a real library with a librarian and a real gymnasium. But you can't beat the most awesome playground! The kids can play in the woods, build forts, tree swing, and sandbox- with plenty of grass room to run around. (And a garden with fruits and vegetables). Their playground isn't a sterile, injury free prefabricated boring plastic play set out of fear of liability. My kid has scraped himself up building forts and on trees. No big deal! If kids don't get minor injuries in childhood play, then they grow up being risk averse and anxious without developed coping skills. Londonderry really understands child development. In addition, they get plenty of movement, exercise and outside time throughout the day. Londonderry understands the importance of movement in cognitive, intellectual, social, and motor development. They also have shorter school day than other schools we have been in (but have more days in the school year). I prefer my kids to have a 5 hour school day, with 1 week winter holiday break, shorter spring break and going a week later in the summer. Londonderry also closes for religious holidays that aren't solely Christian holidays/observances. As parents, we couldn't be happier

We have a son and daughter at Londonderry School who started in Preschool and are now in 4th and 7th grade. Londonderry School offers the ability to learn quicker or slower depending on how they are doing at the time. They are given the freedom to grow their personality and feel comfortable within themselves, without judgements, in a close community environment. This has given them the foundation to believe in themselves and know that they can be successful in what they choose to do in life. The base qualities that we all wish we got from our School, Londonderry provides to our children. I am thankful for the wonderful teachers and staff at Londonderry School.

My son went to Londonderry after coming from a public charter school. We found the staff and the students to be a wonderfully welcoming environment which encouraged my son to grow and learn. He made close relationships to the students and staff and their families, which have lasted throughout the years. Londonderry's typical class size tends to be smaller, which allows for individualized attention to students. Parent and family involvement with the school and students is common (this is not a school where children are just dumped at the doorstep), and children of various ages have the opportunity to play and work with children of different ages and grades. The overall environment is supportive academically, socially and emotionally. Children at Londonderry learn by doing and exploring, not just rote memorization from a book or listening to lectures. When my son graduated Londonderry, he excelled in high school and graduated with honors. Today he is a wonderful young man and I attribute his life at Londonderry to the person he is today.

my daughter is going into her third year at Londonderry and I love the school. They took the time to figure out how to approach her learning gap and made sure i was involved every step of the way. She loves her teachers(2 per class) to pieces. I couldn't have found a better school where my daughters certain needs were met head on and not written off as an ADD/ADHD problem but truly evalutated on how to work with her.
