My son spent two amazing summers at EHS. He is now on his sophomore year and is thriving. The Eagle Hill community is so emotionally supportive and academically focused. They also have great extracurricular activities and sports teams. My son is so happy there. Has made a lot of friends and gained self confidence. I highly recommend this boarding school.

Eagle Hill provided our daughter the perfect learning environment. Relative to her formative school experience , she is now in a place where she is met where she is at. She is happy and rebuilding confidence following years of exhausting days and sometimes futile learning support both within and outside of the traditional school system. Learning at Eagle Hill is a joy built on a foundation of Academic Staff committed to each and every student in the most profound ways. This school is a gem!

My granddaughter attends Eagle Hill and it has changed her life. She has found friends, a love of learning, a genuine desire to achieve, the warmest and most nurturing people, a gorgeous campus, support for her learning differences, a kindness not usually found in other schools and more. Any review where the review is negative has to be viewed as a reflection of the reviewer not the reality of Eagle Hill.

The school will give you an overall terrible experience, the rules and policies are ridiculous and the privelage status’s don’t give you anything and there’s no freedom at all, you don’t learn anything and the school does not prepare you for college at all. You can’t even leave campus on your own.

We’re so thankful to have found the Eagle Hill School as it has changed our son’s (not to mention our family’s) life for the better. Our son is currently a sophomore and has visibly matured since he started at EHS a little more than a year ago. We’ve noticed that the teachers take a personal interest in every student, building on their strengths, working on their challenges, teaching them to advocate for themselves as well as offering extra help when needed. Our son’s dorm counselor is presently working with him on executive functioning, which is embedded into the school’s overall program. We no longer argue with our son about getting his work done (as we used to do on a nightly basis).I must admit having our son away has not been easy as we miss him like crazy, but we FaceTime with him every evening and the constant communication from his teachers and advisors, through the school’s portal, helps keep our our connection strong. In addition, communication with faculty and staff has consistently been positive as everyone truly seems to be happy to answer questions and work through any issues that crop up (and they do). Additionally, when our son has made mistakes, we’ve been impressed by how EHS actually uses it as an opportunity to reflect and support instead of making him feel bad. To be honest, one of our son’s greatest leaps forward in communication and maturity occurred after a poor choice he made. My husband and I really attribute this breakthrough to the school’s thoughtful and measured response to the situation. I don’t want to forget to add that a state-of-the-art STEM building was recently completed, offering students a wide range of additional learning opportunities. For many EHS students their strengths don’t fit the typical academic mold and this school offers so many additional ways to find their passion and build on it. Eagle Hill truly feels like a second family and works incredibly hard to bring out the best in its students.

The school’s leadership, teachers, advisors, and coaches have succeeded in tapping our son’s full potential. Prior to his arrival, he saw school as an obligation that required the absolute bare minimum of his attention. He came from a school that offered accommodations for learning difference. Eagle Hill, however, embraced his learning differences and created for him a personalized development program that has put him on a whole new trajectory. Now, he is engaged in the classroom and excited to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities and athletics. We are proud to witness his new-found confidence, willingness to explore the unfamiliar, and perseverance. We are thrilled to know and be a part of this community which is so welcoming and committed to the growth of our children. Our experience at Eagle Hill has been fantastic.

Our daughter attended Eagle Hill School for all four years of high school. The educational and social development she experienced there far exceeded our expectations. The classes were individualized and targeted to her specific learning needs. She grew through a variety of extracurricular activities available to her including her participation in the theater and team sports. Most importantly the faculty and staff are outstanding. Working with the college guidance staff she was accepted in every college she applied. Eagle Hill made an incredible difference in my daughter’s life.

If you are looking for a school that is expert at teaching kids with unique learning profiles then you need look no further. Faculty, Staff and Administrators are all beyond 100% professional and dedicated to the work they do. You will not find another school with the same level of commitment and focus on purpose than you will at EHS. They are the best of the best. They recognize that learning is individual and that every child has what it takes to be successful given the right tools and the level of attention they need and deserve. In closing, our experience has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you EHS!

This school changed our son's life! Our entire family has benefited from the transformation that our son has experienced since attending Eagle Hill. He has developed into a confident young man who now thrives academically as well as personally. We could not be happier.

My son is going in to his third year at Eagle Hill. The school is not only an expert in supporting students with learning differences, but it also provides the opportunity for a well-rounded education that'd you'd find at any top notch mainstream boarding school. It has robust programs in sports and the arts, it has an IB option and much more. There is a huge need for institutions that are effective in teaching diverse learners. I'm grateful that Eagle Hill exists!

As a former parent who has experienced three boarding schools, Eagle Hill rises to the top. It is what it says it is! I am thankful that it was available for my daughter.

Our experience at Eagle Hill was phenomenal. My son had lost all confidence as a student at his previous school, and within 2 years emerged a strong student and better human. His confidence soared, and so did his grades. The campus is pristine, the facilities are excellent, and the caring and compassion of the faculty (especially his advisor and resident counselor), students, and staff make it a truly special place. Eagle Hill has such a strong sense of community, and it felt like family for him and us. Enrolling our son was the best thing we've ever done (for him and his parents alike), and because of Eagle Hill, he is now attending a 4 year college in the fall! Thank you EHS!

My son had a truly exceptional experience at Eagle Hill. He entered a reluctant reader and, even in his first month, had become a voracious and developing reader. The expertise of the teachers, the understanding of the administration, and the sense of community on campus made his time at EHS remarkable. The school's unique approach to what everyone else considers disability was liberating and humanizing.

Eagle Hill School is the reason that I not only was accepted into college, but more importantly, was able to graduate magna cum laude. By the time that I had completed middle school, I was completely disillusioned with our education system. I felt lost and forgotten in a classroom of thirty students and my teachers struggled to accommodate me. But from the first time I walked across Eagle Hill's campus, I was struck by how genuinely happy the students appeared there and how in each classroom teachers were willing to take the time to stop, answer questions, or allow themselves to get lost in a deeper discussion with their students when the opportunity arose and they thought it was worth pursuing. At Eagle Hill, I was intellectually stimulated and engaged in a way I had never been before. As a student, I was overwhelmed by the sense of community that permeated the school; teachers, many of whom had been working for ten, twenty, or thirty years at Eagle Hill, knew their students and knew how to push, encourage, and motivate them to better themselves not just academically but in all facets of campus life. I am forever grateful of the teachers and dorm counselors who inspired me to become the accomplished and fulfilled person that I am today.

Eagle Hill School provided an exceptional and challenging educational experience for our son. He was surrounded by a community of teachers, staff and students who supported him academically and socially. The faculty are a tremendously dedicated and passionate group. The teachers provide engaging classrooms while also encompassing a nurturing and supportive environment for their students.

Both of my children have attend the Summer Program at Eagle Hill and have loved it. My son has attended the program the last four years and will plan to attend again this summer. My daughter attended for the first time this past summer and also plans to return this summer. As parents, we worry about the gap in learning the summer brings. While it is a time for enjoyment, I also want my children to be prepared for the next school year. Eagle Hill's summer program offers strong academics so they do not lose the skills and knowledge to be unprepared for the fall with a mix of fun programs, clubs and sports so my children still enjoy summer. I have also noticed improvements in my children's academics, their confidence in approaching academic challenges, their self-esteem, and their leadership abilities. They have also enjoyed meeting other children from around the world and building new relationships. I would recommend Eagle Hill and the summer program to any parent interested in wonderful well-rounded and fun program for their children

Eagle Hill has provided a learning experience for my son even beyond my already high expectations. It is a real community in which highly professional, truly caring educators give individualized attention to each student. As such it is an exceptional, even unique, school. Eagle Hill has helped transform my son from a reluctant student to one who is confident, college ready, and academically minded.

Eagle Hill's dedication to help students with perceived learning differences achieve academic success has turned my son's life around. From believing that he was never going to be able to succeed academically to now looking toward college is amazing. The dedication of caring faculty and a mission of core values teaching kindness, respect, honesty and purpose ensure that all students are treated as individuals and prepared for life beyond the classroom.

I loved Eagle Hill the teachers were beyond amazing and made me realize my true abilties. The three teachers who had the most impact on my life were Michael Richard, Jenna Hubacz, and Jed Geary as they believe in me and focus on my ability rather than the disability. It was clear I was suffering personally as my older sister was incredibly talentive and i was struggling in many times they made me realize everyone is different and each individual has their own talents to this day they will always mean the world to me along with so many other teachers. Another teacher who has been gone for years now is Matthew Horan I always struggle getting my thoughts on my paper he was incredibly supportive of it and my writing greatly improved thanks to him. The negative the housemaster and dean of students care the most about the "Richest families" My parents couldn't donate money and my mom tried to say thank you a couple times though they wouldn't give us much attention as they knew we wouldn't be giving that much of a donation due to our income level.
