My son is an almost 1st grader at the elementary school. He has been going to school here since he was in Preschool and Young 5’s as well as after that. We have loved his teachers and all of the staff in the building for 3+ years now. Highly recommend. He has learned so much. And loves school. :-)My son also has ADHD and they are so accommodating for him.

Communication is absolutely terrible! Have not had any luck with involved teachers. Was shunned when wanted to communicate weekly as well as do homework at home with my daughter. It's been terrible and that goes for the principal too!

What a fantastic place to learn! I love that everyone knows my daughter's name. It is a small school, but has amazing things happening! Some of the highlights of the school are the new walking track, new computers, campus wide wifi, Nightlights (a 6 week after school program) and more! Even with the state constantly cutting back on money, we are still able to offer Gym, Fine Arts, Technology and Story Time to all of our students as daily specials. Come and check out why we love HH!

We moved our children from Columbia Schools 2 years ago and we have never regretted the decision. Hanover Horton creates a safe learning environment. The community has a sense of family and we have not encountered any bullying or negative behavior by others. The classrooms are filled with the latest technology and create a positive learning environment. The schools are clean and recently renovated to provide additionally safety. The playground is beautiful and the children have a very large area to enjoy the outdoors - they get many opportunities to do so throughout the day. The food in the cafeteria is healthier than most schools provide. The classrooms feel like home away from home - and CLEAN! Hanover Horton honors individuality and allows the children the opportunity to express themselves. When my daughter comes home she is happy and there is nothing more a parent can ask for - we love Hanover Horton!!

The teachers at this school are amazing! They go above and beyond just teaching. They truly care about not only the students in their classroom, but all students in the school. I love how the three schools (elementary, middle, high) work together to demonstrate leadership and promote a sense of community. There are many programs where older kids assist younger kids with academics and athletics as well as other extra curricular activities. Hanover Horton is extremely supportive of outside clubs and groups such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Bible Club, and more. They promote diversity and have an excellent anti-bullying program. The Night Lights program offered every winter to give kids an opportunity to explore different enrichment programs is wonderful. All of my children have participated in classes from Lego Mania to Cooking to Soccer. These are great opportunities for kids to try different things at a very reasonable cost right after school. I highly recommend Hanover Horton Elementary School!

Such a terrific school! The teachers are phenomenal and the principal is one of a kind. She does a great job of getting involved with all of the students and makes a point to come to special events to support the children. The teachers truly care about the students and make the classroom a fun, creative, and successful place to learn. Both of my daughters attend HH Elementary and we have had such a great experience. HIGHLY reccomend this school district!

I could not be more pleased with this wonderful, supportive community! Everyone is so involved with the well-being of the students. My four school-aged children love their teachers and the entire staff here at Hanover-Horton. Great place to call home. :)

Hanover-Horton Elementary School is a very caring, welcoming place for young students and their families. The teachers are some of the most dedicated I have ever seen. They always go the extra mile to help their students, and they are always available before, during or after school. There is a lot of parent involvement at this school, with many parents volunteering in classrooms or in various groups. Needless to say, it is apparent that this school is strongly supported by parents and the community.

Hanover Horton Elementary School has been a fantastic experience for my son. He is currently in first grade and I can't believe what he is able to do. I know I couldn't read that well in first grade. We use the before school and after school care and the prices are reasonable and he enjoys his time. There is a very active PTO and there are many events planned throughout the year. We are school of choice parents and couldn't be more pleased with our decision.

My child goes to this school, and I have nothing but good things to hear. The superintendent is amazing and is very social when you see him around. This would be and is the first school that I reccommed when parents are looking for a different district to become apart of. Kudos to the teachers and support staff who make the school what it is.
