I would rate 5 stars. It’s as close to outstanding as one can expect.

Great college prep for our kids. Well rounded education with a great Christian emphasis.

If you want a school that is looking out for the needs of the student and will partner with you as the parent than this is the school for you. The teachers and staff are like family. They make you feel important and they want the best for your child. I have had three children attend Hampton Christian and have been very pleased with the leadership and teachers. It is a school based on Godly principles.

As a student at Hampton Christian High School, I'm torn between recommending it and not. Your child will form many close knit relationships with fellow students. However, administration is very unforgiving. Our VP stands in the hall waiting to pass out detentions to students that pass him. They say you can talk to them about personal matters but if the matters go against school code, you'll be suspended. For that reason, there is tension between administration and students. On a more positive note, certain teachers are not like this. I have two teachers that I know I can talk to about anything and they will pray with me and I know what is said won't be mentioned in the teacher's lounge. Our dress code is VERY modest and uniforms are not necessary. We wear collared shirts [no more skin than four fingers from the collar bone can be visible].

We have been very impressed with this school. I wish they would have uniforms, but otherwise the teachers and leadership are good.
