There's been many complaints about this school. Some of the staff has been replaced the assistant principal was let go. But some of the staff that was a part of the problem is still there along with the principal. The staff is very mean they're very mean to the children. They let the children fight the principal does nothing. Which her emails are being intercepted by the new assistant principal. Some of the teachers yell at the students, there's beef and dislike among the staff so you know who already is running it , my two daughters have seen this over the years but not anymore. I'm with drawing them from the school. Their friends also go to the school and know that the staff is very. the lunch lady even told my daughter to clean up her mess on the floor. What a horrible School don't send your kids there many parents have already left already.

So far My child has been enrolled in this school for kindergarten and 1st grade and beginning 2nd now and the experience has been far from pleasant. so far the teachers have been lax at best. it has been a real struggle in communication follow up and follow through. we have had multiple meetings with the administration regarding the classroom conditions to no avail. My daughter went to Armstrong and we had a totally different experience. someone really needs to get a grip on this school, its teachers, and the classrooms in order to actually teach the children. We were forced to teach my son all year last year just so he would not fall behind. its no wonder the school struggles to meet the state requirements for testing. Disappointed to say the least.

I love my Aberdeen Lions! My daughter went first and paved the way for my son, this is his last year and I will miss the awesome Principals and teachers who helped my babies to get where they are now. God bless Aberdeen Elementary!

My daughter did so well at Aberdeen, that when we got transferred to Mississippi, they wanted to jump her a few grades because of how smart she was.

Aberdeen has given my family the best school experience. My child has special needs and all of her needs were met and her teachers went out of their way to give her a wonderful experience! Her teacher, as well as the administration, was new to the building and they have really turned things around, Aberdeen is a wonderful school! I wish my I had another child to send through Aberdeen!!!

I love Aberdeen Elementary School!! This school has great administrators, teachers, and staff!! They are dedicated, hardworking, and caring. Every staff member in the building is invested in helping each student reach his or her highest academic and social potential. Aberdeen strives to provide students with a safe, positive, nurturing, supportive, and diverse learning environment. It's a GREAT place to learn!!

Aberdeen is a haven for underachievers and troublemakers. More time is spent correcting negative behaviors then rewarding the good. It seems that it has become a dumping ground for the more troublesome students that either can't go anywhere else or got the boot from their last school. Ghetto would be a great way to describe it. The teachers can only do so much, but with the parent involvement being nil, it makes it difficult for them to teach the ones who actually care about school. If you can help it, take your child else where.
