Mrs Zimmerman is an outstanding teacher. She also worked the Summer Excel program. Mrs Zimmerman went out of her way to help prepare both of my boys for this upcoming school year. She taught my son last year and has my younger son this year. I was so impressed with her level of compassion and care. I really appreciate her teaching style. It is obvious that she really cares about the students. There are many great teachers in the hammonton school district. I have to admit, Mrs Zimmerman takes it to the next level of excellence.

Hammonton Middle School has been quite an experience but there are some bad things about it. Such as winning things, they only pick favorites and don’t pick people who actually worked hard the whole year. Most teachers are nice but some are rude and pick on students they don’t favor. There has also been a huge issue with drugs, and vaping. They get other kids in trouble for doing stupid things but when it comes to the “popular” kids or “favorites” they tend to get away with anything you could possibly think of. A lot of bullying happens at this school as well as racism, sexism, and homophobia. Many of the male students at Hammonton middle school are sexist and homophobic towards female students and LGBTQ+ students. Both music teachers fail at choosing the best of the best. They favor students and don’t give actual singers and musicians to preform and prefer the ones who get close and befriend them. Overall, Hammonton Middle School didn’t give me or any of my friends chances to really show off since some teachers are mean and have favorites.

I have had two children graduate from this school and both were more then prepared to succeed at the next level both in and out of the classroom. I highly recommend this school and i am very grateful to the educators who cared for my children.

This school is rigid and unable to follow even the most basic educational plan. Top down the administration is not interested in educating every child- only the superstars. If you have the right last name you are golden.

My school is Hammonton middle school. My child is unfortunately a sixth grader at the middle school. I've had consistent problems with communication as I am my child's parent of alternative residence. (This means I have joint custody by he lives with the other parent). I've have been actively excluded from meetings with the child study team and then treated as a criminal when I call the school out on their behavior. The school district that I am living in is one of the best in the country and it is frustrating watching such a horrid and incompetent school district exclude me, the only parent that communicates with the teachers and pays thousands of dollars in private tutoring just to keep my child at grade level. If you are a young family looking to move into this school district, RUN!!!! There are affordable home elsewhere with much better schools. There are some bright spots with individual teachers, but as with any private or public organization that is toxic, I'm sure those teachers will not last.
