Both of my children LOVED being part of the Falcon Flock and in the Oakcrest Nest! The oldest of the three sister schools is filled with nothing but pride and school spirit! In addition to the excellent staff, the wide array of classes and areas of study (including magnet programs and JR ROTC)…they had excellent opportunities to participate extracurriculars which had something for everyone. There is more to high school than classes and homework and the staff (teachers, supervisors, administrators, guidance, secretaries)…they KNOW these kids! And once they know them, encouragement, support and guiding them to their true path toward success is their goal. I love a school that is enthusiastic about sports, but also balances those sports with Fine and Performing Arts programs that are equally supported. Teachers here go above and beyond to encourage students to pursue their passions and participate. As choir and drama enthusiasts, both participated in numerous award winning choirs and both were on stage more times than I can count. From the fall drama to the spring musical, Cabernet nights and combined summer performances, there were so many opportunities to perform! Both were inducted into the International Thespian Society in their freshman year…no easy task.If you are doubting what the OAK has to offer, simply speak to one of the students who has graduated, or any of the students currently attending who are just walking through the door, I am willing to bet they will all say that they think the Oak the BEST Greater Egg has to offer. Mays Landing is a great place to live and having Oakcrest is the best!

Good school if a student is an athlete or advanced in academics. Awful experience getting help and accommodations with disabled student. From superintendent to principal, and can't forget guidance counselor. All brushed us off and tried to pawn us on to the next person until we had no choice but give up. Guidance counselor and other "support" staff advised it would be best to drop out and obtain GED due to lack of accommodations. Shameful.

The science department at this school is run very poorly. It's lacking seasoned leadership!

This school. This place where I call home, is the best school I could have ever gone to. The students have wonderful creativity and love. We're all been through a lot together but we stick together because we're all a family. Our spirit section is THE BEST SPIRIT SECTION IN NEW JERSEY (just saying.) Oakcrest is the place where people wished they've gone. Oakcrest is where oakdust is everywhere. Oakcrest is where I am a Falcon and proud to be one.

Oakcrest may not have any air conditioning, but it's a well place that'll meet your needs. We have the best school spirit, & you'll have a lot of fun at the football games! We have THE BEST spirit section! We have won 2 of our first games, & it has been an awesome game so far. I completely can't wait for the rest of the season to begin.
