Excellent elementary school. Not sure about past reviews. We were concerned when my child got transferred from Marlow elementary. IMHO, Sand-Hill is as good as Marlow elementary. Both being good schools.Teachers, special education therapists, school bus drivers, they all do a very good job. More than a good job, they truly care for my child, his well being and progress. They are very responsive, answering all our questions thru phone.

All this school does is place blame. My son went from loving school to hating it. I feel like every time I have a conversation about his behavior, I am being accused of not disciplining him at home. I am well aware that some of his behavior is unacceptable, but I am also aware that his teacher should not be teaching Pre-K. The types of behavior he exhibits at school he has never exhibited before. I feel like no one at that school wants to help him enjoy school again. The only person who is interested in his well being is the Pryme Tyme director, who, by the way, doesn't have an issue with him.

I am to be moving into the area mid April and I believe this will be the school my three daughters will be attending. We are coming from North West Metro Atlanta (Cherokee Co.). I have mixed emotions, it seems like for every good comment there is a bad one next. I would appreciate any comments from some parents/teachers for this 2011/2012 school year to let me know how this school is.

This school has the most caring staff. They have always gone above and beyond for my not only my child, but my family as well. During a recent time of tragedy, my children's teachers, counselor, and administrators were there for them, providing support and more.

I cant stand this School. They concentrate on the smarter upperclass students the one that struggles forget it..my grandson is in 2nd grade his teacher don't even know he's there. she is never in contact with me I have tried several times to reach her and she never ever gets back with me..so I'm looking into another school she is a joke...Also the Principal she try to act like shes concerned but its just a paycheck to these unprofessional people...don't send your child to this school it is awful.....
