I went to this school for 7 1/2 years and am now going to a bigger and better school because of some things this school did. I have been going to my new school for about a year now and have come to discover that Pawnee wasn’t the school it’s all hyped up to be. At Pawnee I was testing at a 3rd grade level in 7th grade and when I came to my new school I was there for about 4 months and they had me testing at an 9th grade level in 7th grade. That sure says a lot, the teachers here are much better than at Pawnee and care much more about all of their students rather than only some like at Pawnee. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone and I hope this review helps some people, thank you.

Pawnee is a prime example of a strong school surrounded by a very supportive community full of alumni wanting to help the school continue to succeed. Teacher to student ratio is phenomenal. All kids are seen and heard. Accessibility to emotional and mental health is readily available. The staff is intent on helping everyone succeed when both sides are willing to participate. Be ready to participate and you won’t regret being at Pawnee School. Sports are still accessible and the club participation in FFA, FBLA and Clay Shooting is fantastic. 4H is also available. All with Leaders who care and go the extra mile. Cost of living is low with all the amenities you need such as health services, groceries, fuel and restaurants as close as 20 miles. Be willing to support you local business and they will support your school. Highly recommend this school and community for a family looking for traditional values.

Wow! Love this school. As a parent, I love the one-on-one support my kids receive. The teachers there, are heartfelt and smart and want the best for their students. My son decided to love the Titanic recently and his teacher pursued that interest for him rather than “just” following the curriculum. She prompted his interests and used state standards to implement it! My daughter loves to come to school too as she enjoys her teachers and the programs/extracurricular activities Pawnee offers. The high school students seem to enjoy their classes as they are often telling me about their experiences and learning enjoyment. Love that even though Pawnee doesn’t offer as much as other schools, the coaches/sponsors still try their best and the board continues to focus on giving the students what they want/need. The teachers and coaches are well educated and the students are their top concern. Love this school!

Despite its size, this school delivers an exceptional educational experience. The small class sizes create a close-knit community, fostering strong teacher-student relationships. Parents are welcomed partners in the educational journey, ensuring open communication and collaboration.In summary, Pawnee Jr./Sr. High School may be small, but its heart is enormous. It prepares students not only academically but also instills values that guide them in life. I highly recommend this school for a supportive and enriching educational experience.

This is an excellent school! Staff members are willing to go above and beyond for any of their students! The student to teacher ratio is one of the best so your student will receive extra attention! This schools strives to keep a safe environment for all students!

Pawnee has a strong experienced staff, many with advanced degrees. Student to staff ratio is very low showing a commitment by the district to individualized learning. Facilities are among the best in the area, and the district has no debt. The community is rooted in natural resources production which supports a lower tax rate locally and funds the district total program. Students have opportunities to participate in a variety of sports, clubs, and activities while attending, and dual credit college level classes are paid by the school. Top favorites mentioned by the students are the advanced agriculture shop, the strong FBLA Business Club, the State level Clay Target Team, and the online options for specialized coursework at the high school and college levels.
