Grosse ile schools are great for kids who don’t have learning disabilities. They treat kids with poor grades differently than all the other students. Also they don’t do anything when a child is getting bullied I’ve heard multiple students get bullied and they didn’t do anything about it.

This district completely failed the students during the lockdown. The former superintendent defaulted to the easiest choices and forced an entire community into lockdown. I moved my student to another middle school not locked down and they performed much better. Since they have reopened GI schools, I will not return as I feel my student is learning at a faster pace than what was being covered in GI. The board is toxic and has poisoned the district with their hiring / firing choices. Until a completely new board is elected, there will be no meaningful change and GI students will fall farther behind their peers in MI and in other states. They are lucky the kids test well on standardized tests. The MS Spanish classes were a joke and should not have counted towards high school credit. Michigan Virtual has a much more rigorous curriculum in all subjects.
