The school has turned around since getting a new principal. He is encouraging the teachers to do better and in turn is having a better student morale. The kids actually want to learn and can be proud of their school.

Griffith has teachers who are devoted and really, really care about their students. They care about their academic success as well as their overall well-being. Griffith is a small town community with great pride in their Panthers! People who grew up in Griffith come back after college to raise their family here. The school is small enough so that most everybody knows everybody else's name, the way it should be rather than kids getting lost in the system!

Very disappointed with GHS! The quality and quantity of teaching is poor! They claim to be accredited, that should not be. Children are not treated fairly at all! The so called administration says that they are concerned but they are not, they just blow you a bunch of nonsense and expect you to believe they care.

The Griffith school system is a total joke. I do nt even know where to begin. The super. is horrible, you have to go through a pack of bulldogs just to talk to untouchable Morekis spellings probably wrong but who cares. The whole office staff is a joke. The tea hers lack so much in what they are teaching. The math program is horrible always has been, my older 2 children survived this joke of a school and my last one will get out none too soon. I would not send my kids there if I didnt have to, but thats the rules, something that this school lacks. Look at the big picture ghs you are a joke, and cannot wait for it to be over. You are a pitiful school.

This school is terrible i am a middle schooler with passing grades...BUT the teacher have lacking concept with their students....there rules are to strict examples cant wear opened toed shoes(flip flops) cant have any shoulder showing, cant even have the littlest rip in your jeans, and after the shooting at sandy hooks tjey made us wear school provided ids.if u lose an id its 5 dollars to replace....they have no control of their students in the hallways fights probally breakout once every week. Drama is a big deal too there was a girl that was actually just harrassed and i had suicidal thoughts. They have old not updated text books some of these books dont even have the right information or sometimes even INCORRECT GRAMMAR. If you were to put your kid in this school dont be suprised if your kid got into a fight or came home crying cause of drama. If you want your kid in a good schooling system put them in clark, pierce,munster,or maybe even highland. I hope whoever reads this takes my advice its very truthful and caring for other kids who shouldnt have to go to a bad school
