We recently switched schools and my daughter now attends Longfellow. We changed her school because she didn’t like going but now she loves school. It’s easy to get her out of the house in the morning and she really likes her teacher.

Longfellow is a diverse little gem of a school! Students have a lot of mental health resources including 3 counselors, a social worker, and access to outside counseling services. Academically, there are 10 classroom aides, a math interventionist, a reading interventionist, a literacy coach, and an instructional coach. Last school year, our 3rd graders made big gains in their IREAD scores after many years of decline! We are so proud! Our staff and students work hard and celebrate growth! Longfellow also has a positive relationship with the community.

My children have been going to Longfellow and Lake Ridge Middle school and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff are very caring and helpful.
