I am a student at Western middle School and I enjoy all the subjects but out of all of them I have to say I like math the most but I do like all my teachers and I can't wait to learn with them even though we have to wear masks. I really recommend you to join a club or sign up for sports. I signed up for soccer and I hope I make the team but I really hope you guys check out Western Middle School and become a Wildcat bye.

Western is an awful school! This school destroyed my child on so many levels. Their discipline style is completely punitive and focuses on punishing children. The principal is a disgrace. He pretends to be funny and like-able. In written format he is funny but in real life he is not. He does not go above and beyond for the kids. It is all a show and it is a bad show. Glenville parents are in for a real shocker at Western. Unfortunately it is a real downgrade.

This school experience was terrible, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EASTERN MIDDLE SCHOOL, it is extremely better and give quality bathroom stalls.

This is an excellent school! The teachers teach in a meaningful and fun way! The 7th grade team is the best! They incorporate boring learning into really fun learning! ~2014-2015 7th grade student

Western Middle School is the hidden gem of Middle Schools in Greenwich. The principal, vice principal, and teachers are dedicated to helping each student reach his/her full potential. They give up lunch for extra help! Teachers send emails to keep parents up to date on units being explored. Teachers send "Good News from WMS" post cards and emails which highlight positive attributes and actions of the students. Students are appropriately encouraged to take ownership for their work. The diversity at WMS prepares students for the real world. Students are made to feel like a big fish in a little pond while at WMS. Each of my children were well prepared at WMS for the demands of high school and college. The PTA is strong and active with many opportunities for parent participation. Overall, Western is a wonderful school.

Western School had a great team of teachers. The Principle and the Vice Principle are wonderful. It is a calm and inviting place. As a new comer, my son gets a lot of support, but not too much to make him stand out (it is Middle School.) It is not "Greenichi" at all, and that is a compliment!

I totally regret going here. Absolute horrible preparation for the high school. Basically, anyone who showed up to class and didn't say stupid things would just get an easy A+. As much as I loved getting straight A's on my report cards and the humor of the teachers, I have not been doing as well as I wanted to in the high school. Very little guidance counselor interaction and I wish they had done more to prepare the students. If you really want to give your kids the best education, start saving up some $$ for other places.
