My daughter was assaulted in a classroom altercation. She was not involved other than her head being in the way of the kids involved. She had to go to pediatric ED and have 5 staples to close the wound. Wish I could say admin was supprtive. Many great, caring teachers, and, if your kid is regular Ed or advanced it will be OK.

the experience was okay but some of the teachers were very very strict

The school is very good at worrying about its students and giving them the right materials to learn and to progress for years to come.

Kiser is an ok school. It's very old, but they are planning to build a new one in a couple years. The bathrooms are very disgusting and some of the teacher's behavior is concerning. but they include everyone. I've only won tenessee a couple fights and they are handled very quickly

I have had 3 kids come through this Kiser Middle School. They have made great friends, have been involved in worthwhile activities and sports, and have been challenged academically by creative teachers. No school is perfect, but Principal Ged O'Donnell demands the best from all involved creating and striving for the highest standards. My kids were and continue to be successfully prepared for the next level of education.

I am disappointed with Kiser. Ever since my child has attended this school, they have been bullied. I have spoken to the faculty, guidance counselors(which both either never returned my call or followed through with meeting my child), it was a waste of time. One of their teachers is the most rude I have ever met in my life. I've been told I'm a attentive and caring parent, that they appreciate. However, even with that it made no difference. There are 2 great teachers I like there. Overall, the 6 out of 10 rating is correct. Or more like 5 out of 10. I am grateful for the few good teachers, that I'm surprised are employed here. Other than that, Kiser can do better, and truly dare to be great. P.s do something about bullying, and treat every child with attention and care.

My grandson who is currently in the seventh grade at Kiser has had problems from day one. Kiser has not been a good source for educating my grandson. He has ask for help and the teachers pushes him to the side line. The reason I feel he is being push to the side is because he is African American male. I feel that the teachers should take an interest in children when they come to them for help. To this day no one has afford any assistance and my grandson grades are still declining. I would suggest you look at other area school first. Currently I am not please with the results we are getting from Kiser.
