I think the school teachers, the special ed teachers are great but the school looks terrible and most of the kids who go here are terrible and a lot of the parents don't do anything to try to help and break rules too. The school is too big. It is like a highschool and there are a lot of outside traylors for classes. There is at least about 900-1000 kids here. Thats too much for a school to handle and another school should be built. I like the help my kids got but if you could move to a better area thats what you should do. The floor at the school is broke and the toilets. Its real dirty and the principle should get some more janitors to work there so it wont be disgusting. I think my kids can get dirty and bad sickness from this pretty dirty place.

This school, indeed all PG county schools rate a failing grade in student motivation. They do not allow participation in Take A Child To Work Day, but rather schedule standardized testing for the past 2 years on this day which has been the same day for the past two decades. I suppose they schedule testing this day as the most promising students will be present rather than attending career inspiring eveñts and thus increasing the schools overall test results.

Do not under any circumstances enroll your child in this school it will be the worse decision of your life the teachers have no paitence. They do not care about the grades the kids get and they are incompetent. I rate this school a zero. I have never in my life experienced facility that doesn't care. The school lets out early and is often closed. If your only option was this school I suggest you home school instead.

The PE teacher is no good. My daughter who is a Honor Roll student keep getting C in her PE class and missed Honor Roll twice now. This 9 year roll is very active and discipline. She is in the newspaper for sports championship. She was the only one who was selected from her team to play in the (AAA) Triple A Softball Tournament, she does dancing and swimming, she also held this school record for the most push-ups (80). My child never got more than 9 out of 10 for PE score. My conclusion is that the teacher in no good.

Ever since the previous principal left Springhill Lake, the school has gone down under. There are now incompetent teachers, low parent involvement, and the new principal is uncaring and does not care how the school is ran.

This school is in the middle of gangland, and the apartment complexes around house unsavory characters who want to hurt your children. The students also run loose, beating each other and disrespecting any visitors. The school is run by a poor excuse for a principal. She does not care what happens to the students. This school is a joke.
