My son is a bright, talented young man, but before John Dewey his life was out of control. He was doing dangerous things. His life and his future were at risk due to his terrible choices. My wife and I could not, for the life of us, help him get his life back onto a positive path. John Dewey worked miracles for our son. Currently, after more than a year there, he is excelling academically, he is a leader and a role model for his peers, he is responsible in the community for maintenance at the castle, and most importantly, he is a happy, healthy teen who is maturing and making good choices in both his daily life and towards building a positive future. This is nothing short of a miracle. The school has incredibly talented clinical staff and teachers, and the peer model gets the kids to look at themselves in a way that adult mentors alone could never accomplish. The tuition is very expensive, but it has been more than worth the sacrifice. It saved our son's life. He is now applying to several top colleges, but more important than the name of the college that he will eventually attend, he has developed the tools to lead a productive, happy life and to make good choices.
