As a student I can firmly say that this school is awesome ( especially the principal) and am very happy with my learning experience.

I had two children graduate eighth grade at Clear Creek School. Both enjoyed their experiences at the school and both are incredibly successful and productive citizens in the local community. I have a grandchild that graduated last year from the school and is doing quite well in high school. I have another grandchild currently attending the school. She loves it there!

Generally, I see that individual teachers work really hard and care about their students. Having low teacher : student ratios is a big bonus. What is sorely lacking is strong leadership with a clear and positive message to unify the school and create a positive and collaborative culture. It would be nice if they incorporated more technology and hands-on learning, to help kids learn in practice and not just theory. While individual teachers appear to innovate more, creativity and trying new ways of doing things is not supported by the administration (primarily the new Principal).

Clear Creek school exudes the spirit of what teaching should be. Teachers, principal, students and parents work in a harmonious way to enhance the education of our future leaders. My grandchildren have flourished beyond expectations since attending this school. As an involved grandparent, I see first hand the quality of education delivered. In addition to the excellent scholastic teachings, the children learn kindness, fun, respect, camaraderie and honor. My grandchildren LOVE going to school, they do the homework faithfully and without resistance. They work hard to be and do their best while enjoying the process. In my estimation there are very few schools which can meet the quality of comprehensive education Clear Creek imparts. If you are thinking of finding an excellent school, you owe it to yourself to visit this beautiful campus.

Oh my goodness my kids and I are so in love with this school. What a dedicated group of teachers that get to know each and every one of their students so well. Feels like a private school but no tuition fees. The entire school is like one big family like the sitcom CHEERS. Feels like everybody knows your name. My kids are thriving academically and socially here. They love that the school incorporates a buddy system in which the older kids mentor the younger and visit with them weekly in the library. This serves as a huge deterrent to bullying. Classroom sizes are small and there is one teacher for each grade level and you get to know each teacher so welk. It's an eclectric mix of parents and kids and as different as they all are everybody gets along beautifully. This school is small but is strong like bull. Enrollment keeps going up as more parents discover it each year and it's been around since the 1800's! My kids and I did an impromptu visit one summer and were overwhelmed by the welcoming nature of each teacher and the principle who recognized us as new to the campus. This little school offers suprisingly unique before and after school programs like Korean martial arts (kuk sool won) yoga, Spanish classes and Camp cougar (after school care where the kids play, do art, science experinents etc. . I have all the confidence in the world that my kids will establish their own strong identities at this school before begininng highschool.

Wonderful school! Having attended here twenty years ago now (oh my goodness...) I visited the school two years ago and found that Scott Lay was still there as principle. Scott was a wonderful teacher and I will always cherish the years I spent at Clear Creek. Unfortunately we moved in the county before my kids could attend the same but this place rocks you will love the small size and close relationship of the staff.

We love Clear Creek. A child's success is part staff, part teachers and part parent participation. We like the whole feel of the community. It is this community effort that brings Clear Creek together. Our child has been here for 7 years and has grown through academics, sports, music and friendships. AR (Advanced Reading) is stressed through all grades. My child has read close to 100 books. Math is approached seriously and time allotted for students who fall behind. My child is doing pre-algebra now. Something I did in high school. I have wonderful relationships with all the teachers and principle. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this school.

Great school with small private campus feel. One class per grade so students are close knit family growing together. Staff has caring heart and work to provide an excellent educational experience. With any school there are areas of improvement; lunch staff and food gets a lot of compliants from the kids. There is very little extras for enrichment at the school just the core studies. Parent Club is small and a lot work is done by a few dedicated members. Community involvement is not encourgaged by adminstrative staff and evening functions rare for working parents to attend. Grades are given each trimester and progress reports few and far between. No online access for grades or school services.

Clear Creek is a small school with a rural feel. The principal is very involved. The academics lack innovation and the teachers are not up on current and innovative methodology. There are no standards regarding grades and student performance with the curriculum, and therefore the teachers lack accountability. While many of the staff members are wonderful, we found a few to be unqualified and unable to interact with the students in a kind and professional manner. We witnessed a teacher and staff member yelling at children and decided to pull our child.

My older son started this school last year, and I loved how the principal was so involved. As he walked around the school he would interact with each child by name and knew them personally. This is a public school with a small private school feel. As, I hear my friends talk about the problems they are having with their kids in the larger public schools and what they are being exposed to, I feel blessed to have Clear Creek. My younger son started kindergarten this year and is loving the school.

My three sons graduated from Clear Creek School, and my daughter attended K-4th grade there. Unfortunately, we moved from the area, but I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet and interact with the staff there. Every staff member at Clear Creek School is dedicated to providing a positive educational experience for students and parents. Not only the staff, but other parents and members of the small community go out of their way to make newcomers feel welcome.
