The Principal is amazing and very dedicated. Every teacher my son has had has been amazing. The staff in general is also excellent. My son has ADHD and the school has been so accommodating even though he doesnt have an IDP or a 504. He gets lots of 1:1. While most districts in the US are cutting on extracurricular, this school provides 2 sessions of Spanish a week, art, music, PE and workshops on how to be a kind person and a nice friend. I love this school and I cannot wait for my second one to go there next Fall.

The teachers are great. MY daughter has loved every teacher she has had there. She is getting a great educational foundation for her future.

Small, nuturing, well run...with high expectations for academic success. Both of my kids attended Thornapple, (youngest ended 4th grade in 2013). It was a wonderful environment from K - 4. The teachers, principal and staff are friendly, supportive and experienced. The building is old, but well maintained with state of the art technology and a two beautiful wooded playgrounds. And the parent participation is excellent...they make sure the school has the help and the funding it needs. I feel lucky that my kids were able to go to Thornapple. Great school.
