Superintendent Modena has lied to us parents about money being spent on the bond and has ruined our school district. Principal Moore is a bad leader. Approach our elected school board members and demand their removal. show your disgust with these poor leaders and racists people. La Gloria is set up low students not high ones, we are sending our son and daughter to Salinas schools for a better education.

We recently moved to Gonzales from the Bay Area and was considering sending our children to La Gloria until we met the rude principal (short fat lady with glasses). She treated us rudely when we asked about programs for advanced children because our children both are two years advanced. for example the eldest should be in 2nd but would have been placed in 4th grade due to his skills. She angrily replied, "You parents think all your kids are advanced!" She didn't look at our documentation just pushed it aside and crossed her arms. My wife and I decided to send our children to Old Republic instead of La Gloria and our reasoning being a school should appreciate motivated/gifted children not this lady! The ladie's attitude towards Caucasians we felt discriminated against and I filed a complaint with The Commission on Teacher Credentialling.

All I can say is WOW! What a disaster of a school since my oldest daughter completed her studies there. The previous Principal Mr. V was always so curtious and genuine with us parents and his staff. The Hispanic lady principal has made parents so very upset and distrustfull of the school with her arrogant and condensending attitude and treatment. For the most part the principal treats her teaching staff like incompetent people where the truth is she is imcompetent and hides it by picking and bullying the teachers and supporting staff. The we get to her treatment of the parents my goodness the school board needs to really needs to launch an investigation. Just read the comment by the previous parent who refused to send their gifted children to a once proud La Gloria. She has turned La Gloria into a pit of sorry with no relief insight. We parents beg you school board members please terminate or remove her authority before she starts to drive her best teachers to other districts.

The principal has made a mess out of the school with no positive feelings for the kids.
