We have been attending Oakhill for several years. Not only does my daughter love going to school everyday, she is engaged in the learning process and is excited about upcoming challenges. Oakhill educators do a wonderful job of teaching life skills to students so that they become responsible and well rounded members of society in the future. I can’t say enough good things about the people that work for this school and the obvious love they have for what they are doing. Their happiness is contagious.

Used to be a great school. Now, personal/professional lines are blurred, nepotism is intense, leadership refuses to respond to parent concerns, education is lack luster, and money comes over health and safety of students. It is past time for new admin.

Oakhill Day school is simply the best. We spent a couple years in the public school system before transitioning to Oakhill and it has been the best decision ever made. Public school does not even compare to the learning, love and support we have received from Oakhill. The teachers and staff are some of the best people you will ever meet in your life.

I have two very different children (academically) but both of their needs were effectively met by the teaching and administration. Overall, this school met the needs of my children and prepared them for academic independence as they moved on to high school.

This school used to be a great place to have your children. Over the last few years it became money hungry and the administration has changed a great deal. It is time for new leadership. People are very comfortable and should expect more. Maybe it is growth and not handling it well, but something is just off. The are some phenomenal teachers, but the program is watered down with family members being hired, rather than really searching for a great addition to the staff and administration. For the cost of the school, teachers should hold higher degrees and have better training. Like I said, USED TO BE GREAT. Our experiences at the beginning were wonderful, sad that it isn't the place it once was. If your child is not a cookie cutter student, this is NOT the place for you.

My daughter attend ODS for 5 years. She's now in high school and has nothing good to say about the education she received at ODS. There were some bright spots, definitely. However, the level of teaching for English, science, and writing were woefully inadequate for today's world. She has worked very hard to overcome the deficiencies at ODS and has received numerous academic awards in middle school and ffreshman year at her current school (that she entered in 4th grade). Just saying.
